Paula Allen has spent 27 years in the Early Childhood field. Paula started first with a Licensed Childcare Home where she spent her days with 14 children. She was very active in the Fresno Family Child Care Association and served two terms as President. While with the FCCCA, she also helped to write a grant that aided family childcare providers to secure equipment that would help them in their daily needs of educating and stimulating young minds.
After completing a B.S. in Child Development from Fresno State University, Paula's next stop was at a corporate daycare center where she worked with 120 children, ages 0-12, and 12 staff members. Some of her affiliations include NAEYC, CAEYC, and NAFCC. Paula teaches parenting classes and provides hands-on curriculum to preschool teachers who are looking for a way of engaging children in the learning process through incorporating their whole mind, body and spirit. |
